Industrial oxygen generators use clean air as raw material, using highly active zeolite molecular sieves as adsorbent, to produce oxygen from the air under a certain pressure. After purified and dried compressed air, the A/B tower is switched over for pressure swing adsorption and desorption. Due to the aerodynamic effect, the diffusion rate of nitrogen in the micropores of zeolite molecular sieves is much faster than that of oxygen. Nitrogen is adsorbed by zeolite molecular sieves, and oxygen is concentrated in the gas phase, ultimately retaining relatively pure oxygen (93% ± 3%).
